This commitment is guaranteed by the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) Handbook 2016 on Education Quality Policy: Universitas Pertamina, implements an admissions system that considers learning opportunities for all segments of society.
Universitas Pertamina currently has 902 students enrolled in their degree programs. Among these students, 43 identify as first-generation university students, meaning they are the first in their immediate family to attend university at any level.
A first-generation student is defined as someone who reports being the first individual within their immediate family—such as parents, grandparents, and siblings—to pursue higher education. However, the definition of “immediate family” is determined by the individual based on their own family circumstances.
