SDG #17: Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development

Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 17 focuses on strengthening the means of implementation and revitalizing the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development.
– United Nation
Universitas Pertamina’s commitment to achieving this sustainable goal is evident through various initiatives undertaken during the 2022-2023 academic year, aimed at strengthening the means of implementation and revitalizing the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development.
Universitas Pertamina actively contributes to SDG policy creation through collaborations with regional and national NGOs, aligning with SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals. One key initiative involved the Bogor City Government, the Bogor City Environmental Office (DLH), ICLEI, and the World Bank, where the International Relations program analyzed the institutional capacity of Bogor’s government in achieving sustainable development goals.
Similarly, Mrs. Mega Mutiara Sari, a faculty member, served as a consultant for the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources’ ADLIGHT project, which promotes energy-efficient lighting systems in Indonesia. These efforts showcase Universitas Pertamina’s significant role in shaping sustainable policies and supporting adaptive management for sustainable futures.
