Universitas Pertamina Expands Lifelong Learning Access Through Public Educational Events

Universitas Pertamina provides free public educational events for people beyond its enrolled student community, through on-campus seminars and science learning activities, alongside publicly accessible online lectures.

Annual Open House: Academic Preparation through a TKA Strategy Seminar

On 24 May 2025, Universitas Pertamina held its annual Open House on campus, providing free access for external high school students and parents. Its educational component included a seminar on strategies for the Academic Competency Test (TKA), covering logical reasoning, question patterns, time management, mental readiness, and practice questions. The university’s published report described participation by hundreds of students from Jakarta and surrounding areas. As part of an annual university programme, the seminar provided programmed public learning opportunities supporting academic preparation and progression to higher education.

Cipta Karsa: Programmed Public Lectures through Free Livestreams

Cipta Karsa is a regularly scheduled lecture series organised by Universitas Pertamina. Its YouTube livestreams are freely accessible to the general public without university affiliation or course enrolment. Publicly available recordings also support continued independent learning and lifelong learning beyond the university’s enrolled student community.
One example, held on 11 March 2025, was “Green Ports and Maritime Logistics: Port Strategies for Supporting the Energy Transition and Decarbonisation of the Maritime Sector.” The lecture provided public learning on ports, maritime logistics, energy transition, and decarbonisation through a free live broadcast and recording on the university’s official channel. Access the lecture here.
