Universitas Pertamina provides direct services to industry aimed at improving energy efficiency and supporting clean energy development through free industrial workshops and technical research activities, helping industry stakeholders explore energy-efficient production practices and renewable energy technologies.
As Indonesia’s National Executing Agency for the Global Green Chemistry Innovation and Network Programme (GGINP), Universitas Pertamina facilitated the free Green Chemistry for Industrial Excellence (GCIE) workshop in Cikarang, West Java, on 25–26 October 2025. The event brought together 52 participants, with 78.8% representing industry. Through technical discussions and case studies, participants examined opportunities to improve industrial production processes, including energy efficiency, waste reduction, and safer materials. The workshop provided industry participants with a platform to identify practical improvements and assess their potential application.

Universitas Pertamina also supported research on renewable energy options for industry through its Center for Advanced Materials (Materials-X). In 2025, Materials-X recorded a Front End Engineering Design (FEED) Solar Photovoltaics Manufacturing project in partnership with Pertamina Power Indonesia. This industry-oriented technical activity supports the development of solar photovoltaic technology and clean energy solutions.
